The blade of this tanto is forged from T10 carbon steel and clay-tempered, reaching a hardness of 62 HRC at the edge while keeping the spine more flexible. The differential heat treatment produces a genuine hamon - the undulating temper line runs the full 12.5-inch nagasa and is clearly visible against the hand-polished chrome finish. The tsuka measures 6.3 inches and is built on a full-tang core. White polyurethane leather samegawa wraps the handle core, and black braided ito is wound over it in the traditional diamond pattern. Gold-tone alloy menuki sit beneath the ito wrap, adding a warm metallic contrast to the predominantly black handle.

The tsuba is finished in black alloy - a clean square-edged profile that keeps the aesthetic minimal and sharp. Gold-tone alloy fuchi and kashira trim the upper and lower handle, tying the gold accents together across the fitting set.

The hardwood saya is finished in piano lacquer, producing a deep gloss black surface. A black sageo cord is knotted at the kurigata, completing the all-black presentation with a single consistent color story. The saya length is 13 inches, sized to fit the blade securely.
