The blade is forged from Damascus steel and finished to a bright chrome polish, with a genuine hamon line running along the edge - the natural result of differential heat treatment during the forging process. The surface retains the layered patterning characteristic of Damascus construction, visible in direct light along the flat of the blade. At 41 inches overall and 3 lbs, the proportions follow traditional katana geometry with a pronounced curve and a clean kissaki point.

The tsuka is built over a full tang foundation, with genuine white samegawa (ray skin) providing the grip base beneath the wrapping. Black cotton tsuka-ito is wound in the classic hishi-gumi diamond pattern, with white menuki accents visible between the wrap crossings - exactly as shown in the product image.

The tsuba is the visual centerpiece of this piece. Cast in bronze with a warm, darkened patina, it features a cherry blossom and landscape scene in relief, with gold and silver gilding highlighting the floral details.
