Product Details

The blade on this katana is crafted from T10 carbon steel and runs the full length of the tang, giving the piece structural integrity that carries through from kissaki to kashira. A natural hamon line traces the edge of the blade, the visible result of differential heat treatment applied during the forging process. The polished surface catches light cleanly, with a dark spine that fades into the brighter edge - a contrast that reflects the care put into the hand-finishing work. Collectors looking to explore White T10 katana options will find this piece a strong representative of the style.

The tsuka is wrapped in brown ito in a traditional diamond pattern over black samegawa, with gold-tone menuki set into the wrap on both sides. The overall grip construction follows koshirae conventions, with a white fuchi collar transitioning cleanly from handle to blade furniture.

The tsuba is cast from alloy in silver and gold tones, featuring a dragon design rendered in openwork relief. The combination of the two metallic finishes gives the guard a layered appearance that reads well both up close and at display distance. The detail work on the dragon's scales and claws is cleanly defined without feeling overworked.

The saya is built from hardwood finished in a white lacquer base, with a dragon-themed print applied across the body of the scabbard. The imagery shifts in density along the length, concentrating at the center section before fading toward the kojiri. A brown sageo is knotted at the koiguchi, matching the tsuka wrap and pulling the color palette together. For additional pieces in this finish range, see the full White T10 Carbon Steel Katana collection.

Overall length is 41 inches and the piece weighs 4 lb. Shipping weight is 5 lb in a 43 x 4 x 4-inch package. Each sword is individually handmade, so minor variations in finish and fitting alignment are inherent to the process. Sword stand not included.

Great sword! Was a little worried as there's not many reviews for this company. But bought a T10 Clay Hardened Katana and am happily satisfied with my purchase. It's definitely a beefy sword. I would not be afraid to take this out for sword on sword combat. I haven't cut anything with it yet, but it doesn't look like it should have any issues. There is no looseness at all on any of the fittings. If you're considering buying a sword here, then just do it, Don't worry, this company is legit. You will receive your product and it will be better than expected.
