Product Details

The blade is the centerpiece of this ninja sword - forged from manganese Damascus steel to 62 HRC hardness, stretching 28.74 inches with a chrome finish that catches light along every hammered contour. Hand-hammered irregular dents run the length of the flat, giving the steel a raw, textured character distinct from machine-ground blades. A visible hamon line traces the edge, the result of the differential hardening process applied during finishing.

Full tang construction ensures the steel extends unbroken through the entire handle, contributing to the sword's 40.55 in overall length and 4.4 lb weight. The 10.62 in tsuka is built over genuine black rayskin, then covered in black PU leather wrap - the rayskin layer adds grip texture beneath the surface without requiring traditional ito cord wrapping.

The tsuba is one of the most visually distinct details on this piece. As seen in the image, it features a rectangular gold-and-black alloy guard with a geometric honeycomb pattern - an unconventional design that breaks from traditional circular tsuba forms and adds a structured, architectural contrast to the otherwise all-black profile.

The black PU leather saya measures 29.92 inches and is covered in deep-relief dragon carvings from throat to tip, paired with a matching black sageo cord. The matte finish on the saya surface keeps the carved texture prominent without any gloss distraction. A set of black alloy fittings - koiguchi, kurikata, and kojiri - complete the hardware in consistent monochrome. At 30.3 inches blade length, 1.26 inches wide, and 0.27 inches thick, the proportions place this firmly in ninjato territory - a straight-bladed, compact format suited to wall display or stand presentation. Shipping weight is 3.3 lb in a 33.4 x 3.9 x 3.14 in package. If the all-black Damascus aesthetic appeals, the Black Damascus Steel Ninjato collection has additional configurations worth exploring.

This is an awesome purchase , I would have given it 5 stars but by the time the sword got to me the little bit of glue that they used for both end caps came loose and I had to re-hot glue them back on . Not a big deal at all but I absolutely love the sword ! I’ll order from true katana again !!!!

Love the quality.I’ve always been hesitant to buy a Damascus blade, but after purchasing the T10 blade and seeing the quality, I took the risk. I am so happy I did. The Damascus blade on my Ninjato is beautiful and well put together. The blade is sharp and the balance is superb
