Product Details

This full tang katana features a 28.74-inch blade forged from 1065 carbon steel and hardened to 62 HRC. The hand-finished edge runs along a polished chrome-toned surface with a real hamon line visible near the spine, a result of differential hardening during the forging process. Japanese characters are engraved near the habaki, adding an authentic touch to the overall presentation. For more options in this steel category, browse our Carbon Steel Katana Sword collection.

The tsuka measures 10.62 inches and is wrapped in white cotton cord over PU white samegawa, creating a crisp diamond pattern with consistent spacing. Beneath the wrap, gold-toned menuki accent pieces sit against the white surface, contributing subtle color detail to the handle. The grip profile is comfortable and secure, well-suited for two-handed display positioning.

At the junction of blade and handle sits a round alloy tsuba with an openwork floral motif. Silver-toned petals and leaves extend across the guard face, while the inner rim carries a gold-toned finish that echoes the menuki accents. The overall effect is intricate without being heavy, balancing decorative detail with structural protection.

The saya is crafted from hardwood with a matte lacquer finish in a distinctive pink marbled pattern - soft rose and white tones blend across the surface, reminiscent of cherry blossom petals. A white sageo cord is tied in a traditional knot around the kurikata, and the koiguchi and kojiri feature black horn-style fittings that frame the pink finish cleanly. The saya measures 29.92 inches in length.

With an overall length of 40.55 inches and a weight of 2.8 lbs, this katana presents a balanced profile suitable for collectors who appreciate the contrast of a white-handled sword with a pink saya. Those interested in similar handle styling can explore our White Handle Katana selection. The sword ships without a stand or holder.

I got this for my boyfriend and I really hope he likes it (for christmas) - Me personally I love it. It is VERY sharp and the blade with the symbols are absolutely beautiful. The sheath looks so well with the white and gold. The guard is so well put together and looks stunning. Really amazing katana.
