Great deal! For the price I wasn't expecting it to be as fine of quality. The wood tsuka and saya appears to be fine hardwood with a tight grain and no blemishes or visible seams where it was joined. The two mekugi (pegs) in the handle are smooth and the emblem in the wood is laser-engraved. The blade fits into the saya tightly with no rattling. It arrived with the 1045 steel blade greased and protected in plastic wrap—a sign of care on behalf of TrueKatana.
Overall, my first impressions are that it is a hefty, sharp, and balanced sword, fit to do some actual cutting. I cannot wait to test it out! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The product is very beautiful and sturdy.The only issues I had was that sheath for the blade is very cheap ,the blade itself had smudges of yellow paint on the base where it thins out and meets the handle on both sides ,and it took me a couple of tries to get the two pieces of the pole to connect.Other than that it is a very good product and I am overall satisfied.
