However the person who installed the Mekugi did not show any craftmanship to finish the excellent concept of what this beautiful piece represent. They were not inserted. They were pushed in by force so they would fit in ripping the Samekawa in the process. The Mekugis protrude outwards app. 3(three) millimeters and very rough at the ends. I have to remove them, cut to size and sand the ends.
