It comes with a manual inside the box that says you’re not allowed to cut anything with the sword. It’s a display piece only. That’s why it doesn’t get 5 stars. Because I have no clue if I can or cannot cut stuff with it.

I’ve never owned a katana so this is my first, and I will say, definitely a good starter katana. Not perfect quality, but Is very excellent considering the price. Looks very good as well. The only problem I have is the string on the sheath is very thin and flimsy, and the little gold pieces that are on the hole on the sheath fell right out. But those are easy fixes.

I think for the price of the item it’s worth the money. There’s a few things that could be better like the loose fit in the scabbard and the way it fits in the scabbard. But other than that, I think it’s a great product for blade enthusiasts and collectors. I wouldn’t recommend trying heavy cutting with these weapons for they are better equipped for light cutting.
