An exquisite craftmanship, very sturdy, genuine materials and really beautiful.
Only one point of disappointment, and it is a major one for me;
like written in your description of this Tanto :
- "razors edge sharp"
- "battle-ready swords"
- "built for cutting" (?!)
- "extremely sharp hand honed edge".
I am afraid it is not true.
I own a Katana with those qualities and this Tanto is not near
to cut something at all. It is even dull at some points to say the truth.
....but 4 stars anyway because it is awesome for display.

I admittedly bought this sword and its shorter companion with the intention of cannibalizing their koshirae to be put on another blade, so I wasn't particularly concerned with the utility of the sword. However, I'll admit that when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by it. The construction seems pretty tight, the blade while flat ground and through tempered has a pretty good geometry and feels solid. For the money I gotta say this is a really good buy.

The sword is beautiful. I bought two swords on Amazon and they both broke within a week. My son (who is into Katana Swords) was devastated. This sword is built so much better and it’s very sleek. He’s only 6 so he’s not allowed to touch it without Mommy or Daddy right next to him. I’m teaching him to respect the sword and to understand it’s a very powerful weapon. We love it. I bought 3 pieces quite close to Christmas. They arrived ON TIME, in overwhelming beautiful quality and perfection. I turned around as soon as I saw they were above and beyond legitimate, and ordered 2 more. My only hurdle, which may be my fault, was I found the same piece on 2 different pages one $118 sale, the other 159. I don't know if I needed to order each separately to get the discount at least on each item. But it's just not enough to complain? I still ordered 2 matching pieces to a Tonto that everyone is going crazy for as our last name is Wolf, AND it's a Tonto?
