It’s a well made and beautiful looking sword, it’s one of the best I had ever obtained.
The reason for only four stars however is that some of the fittings became loose and one came unglued shortly after receiving it.
Despite this I would (and probably will) order again from TrueKatana.

For the price It was Amazing. All the materials that were listed in the description of the item were actually real, including gold, silver, real hard wood saya, including real samegawa rapped handle. The level of detail and craftsmanship of my blade was very high quality. I was also surprised with the fact that the blade had a real hamon (temper line). The one down side is that the saya entrance was a bit wide which causes the blade to not be fully sealed. In conclusion I am very satisfied with my purchase and will buy from here again.

Item description on the website states “battle ready,” “manganese steel,” and we paid $189 for this katana.
We received the katana and the shipping labels themselves states that this was a “decorative iron sword,” worth “$89.”
We were disappointed even though we knew for less than $200, we’d be most likely getting a decorative katana, I just though the company would be more honest in their item description.
Next time, I’ll find a legit shop for purchasing a higher-end katana.
Hubs is satisfied with it however, and it is a solid decoration.
