T10 Carbon Steel Katana with Hamon, Black Saya - Bamboo Engraved Blade, Silver Ornate Scroll Tsuba

The blade on this katana is forged from T10 carbon steel and hand-finished to reveal a genuine hamon - the wavy temper line that traces the boundary between the hardened edge and the softer spine. Running along the flat is a bamboo engraving, etched with clean, naturalistic lines that give the otherwise chrome-polished blade a distinct visual identity within the T10 Katana category.

The full-tang construction runs the entire length of the handle, secured through a black PU samegawa base layer wrapped tightly with black cord ito in a traditional diamond pattern. The silver kashira caps the butt end cleanly, while the overall grip proportions suit the 41-inch overall length of the sword.

The tsuba is cast from alloy in a silver finish, featuring an open ornate scroll cutout design. The detail work visible at the seppa area shows brass and copper toning against the silver plate - a warm metallic contrast that anchors the transition between blade and handle.

The black lacquered hardwood saya is the most visually distinctive element of this piece. A hand-painted gold cherry blossom branch motif runs across one face of the scabbard, rendered with fine detail against the high-gloss black lacquer ground.
