The tsuka is wrapped in black cord using a tight diagonal pattern over the full length of the grip. Both ends are capped with matte black alloy fittings - the kashira at the pommel and the habaki collar where blade meets handle - keeping the color palette strictly two-tone.
The tsuba is cast alloy, finished in matte black, and engraved on both faces with an ornate scroll motif. The curved guard profile sits flush against the saya throat, and the black sageo cord ties off cleanly at the kurikata.
