The 10.62-inch tsuka is wrapped in brown cord over genuine black rayskin (samegawa), a traditional layering that adds both grip texture and visual depth. The diamond-pattern openings in the tsukamaki expose the rayskin nodes beneath, a detail visible clearly across the handle length. No synthetic substitutes - the samegawa is confirmed real rayskin.

The gold-tone alloy tsuba is cast in a chrysanthemum theme with layered petal relief detail.
