Bladesmith with a blacksmithing shop and I'm pretty impressed, the Damascus pattern is very subtle but there, mauve could have used a little stronger acid etch. (Which I will do myself). And they are sharp but can't shave, considering they are not hollow ground, I'm pretty happy with the sharpness. They are strong and you can see the true clay tempering on both, which is especially hard on a double sided dagger. For the price at TrueKatana, you will not be disappointed. These will be with me daily because they are some of the most beautiful pieces I own.
