My son has wanted a katana his whole life. Of course I wouldn't buy a child a real katana so he was stuck with plastic replicas. It is very beautiful and very sharp! It arrived almost a week earlier than expected which was nice, but I will say that the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. It was just in a VERY thin box (think cereal box) that was wrapped in a thin plastic sleeve, with no actual padding or anything to keep it from being damaged. Luckily this one was not damaged but for the price you're paying I'd expect much better packaging.
