Was as perfect as the picture, and very sharp! I don't know much about katanas but this seems very well made and I hope my boyfriend loves it!

Nice straight and sharp. The all black with gold hilites really adds a classy look. I'm no expert on clay tempered blades but polish is excellent. The pattern seems a little too even in it's wave but as I said I'm not yet with full knowledge. Overall very very nice my best one so far.
