Cependant ,la SAYA en bois noir de mon wakizashi , étais fendue en deux endroits avec l'entrée trop étroite , pour introduction de l' HABAKY du sabre . Je l'ai fait recollé par un spécialiste sur bois . J'ai aussi dans le passé , perdu deux sabres , qui se sont égaré dans le transport vers mon domicile . I purchased a full tang battle ready Damascus katana for myself. My selection is a simple design at nearly a thousand US dollars. That level of investment was based one two factors, positive rati gs of prior purchasers and my experience while living in Japan as a child. After several days of running the sword I bought two wazikaski and a tachi for my son and daughter (respectively) as heirloom items for them to pass onto future generations. r
All four are well build instruments. I am very happy to have found True Katana...and will likely buy more because of the craftsmanship (but do not expect to ever need another based of quality and performance of my initial purchase).

I am a practitioner of Iaido. This is normally done with a sword that is blunt. I did want something with a live edge. I am happy with the quality of the build. I purchased these two items and I actually had the smaller one customized to match the bigger one. I appreciate their communication and it was easy to have the discussion about what needed to be done. I was constantly updated and in contact with them. They were pleasant in their conversation, everything happened at an expedient and I am happy to say that I am pleased with my purchase.

My wakizashi was exactly what I ordered and expected, and arrived in good condition and in a timely manner. Thank you for that. My only complaint is that a left-handed saya does not appear to be available. One added note is that I very much enjoyed the enclosed instruction and warnings sheet. I realize that those "Do Not . . ." are probably based on some person actually acting that stupid, and are therefore needed for liability purposes; but wow, some are rather unbelievable!

This wakizashi is a very beautiful and masterfully crafted piece.I also love the scabbard with shoulder sling that it comes with.The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the leather wrapping around the handle is brown and not black and I was wanting a full black wakizashi to complete my set of a black katana and black tanto.But overall it is still a very wonderful piece.
