T10 Steel Wakizashi with Real Hamon - Black Saya, Gold Vine Pattern & Gold Tsuba

The blade of this wakizashi is forged from T10 carbon steel and heat-treated through a clay tempering and water quench process, reaching a hardness of 60 HRC. The resulting hamon line is genuine - formed by differential hardening rather than acid etching - and runs visibly along the 20.07-inch nagasa with natural variation in the transition zone. The chrome-finish blade surface is hand-polished to bring out the steel's character and the clarity of the hamon.

The handle measures 8.26 inches and is built on a full-tang foundation. Black polyurethane leather same-gawa wraps the core, over which black cord tsuka-ito is applied in a traditional diamond pattern. Two dual bamboo mekugi pegs lock the tang firmly in place, and small menuki fittings are set beneath the wrapping for grip texture. All handle components are finished in a consistent black palette.
