I am a practitioner of Iaido. This is normally done with a sword that is blunt. I did want something with a live edge. I am happy with the quality of the build. I purchased these two items and I actually had the smaller one customized to match the bigger one. I appreciate their communication and it was easy to have the discussion about what needed to be done. I was constantly updated and in contact with them. They were pleasant in their conversation, everything happened at an expedient and I am happy to say that I am pleased with my purchase.

My wakizashi was exactly what I ordered and expected, and arrived in good condition and in a timely manner. Thank you for that. My only complaint is that a left-handed saya does not appear to be available. One added note is that I very much enjoyed the enclosed instruction and warnings sheet. I realize that those "Do Not . . ." are probably based on some person actually acting that stupid, and are therefore needed for liability purposes; but wow, some are rather unbelievable!

This wakizashi is a very beautiful and masterfully crafted piece.I also love the scabbard with shoulder sling that it comes with.The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the leather wrapping around the handle is brown and not black and I was wanting a full black wakizashi to complete my set of a black katana and black tanto.But overall it is still a very wonderful piece.

The wakazoshi seems pretty well made. Blade is incredibly sharp and aesthetically it is a beautiful piece. I have 2 grips with it. 1. The Kashira is loose already. Which means if it’s used as intended the tsuka ito will become loose and unwrap. 2. I wish they offered a real ray or shark skin Ho cover. Other than that for the price it is perfect. That is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. For most this would be perfect for display.

It is not a razor sharp sword, but it is a sharp and very well crafted sword. It is balanced and wrapped well, very nice to handle. It was also packed very nicely for shipping and a lot of care was put into the craft and handling of the sword. I would definitely purchase from here again.

This sword was 1 of 3 items that I ordered. This item by itself is wonderful, however, the scabbard is VERY tight on the blade. I worry about the edge being dulled from sheathing and unsheathing the sword. Otherwise, the craftsmanship is great.
