This sword was purchased as a gift; I did open it and inspect it before re-wrapping it.
The craftsmanship was very good! The blade came oiled and very sharp, the woodwork was in impeccable condition.
My only two minor complaints are (1) the steel in the online photos shows a wavy pattern more akin to what I think of when I see Damascus steel (the blade I received did not have the same metal pattern) and (2) the brass work had some edges that weren't quite polished down from casting.
Otherwise I (and the recipient) are very pleased with this, and I will buy swords here again.

Process was reasonably fast from order to delivery. Scabbard doesn't stay on blade well with any reasonable motions. Could still see glue around hand guard and blade area. Slight rattle when you shake lightly. Otherwise pleased with the product for price and quickness of shipping.

I bought the sword believing it to come about 15-20 days later, it ended up coming in 5 days before expected. It came fully protected in plastic and bubble wrap and covered in oils to preserve the metal. It is a very well made sword of high quality and definitely worth the price.

The swords are nice and tight. We haven't cut anything yet with them. The blades, especially on Tensa Zangetzu, are beautiful. I can't wait to decapitate a hog or a deer with them, and see how they work on bone.

I love it and have already picked out another one. My only recommendation would be to spend a little more and buy a sword stand when ordering your sword, your going to want to display it.
