Over all, beautiful blade, fit and finish could be a little better, packaging needs more, the saya had a small chip on the end, the habaki is very loose, and the fuchi is loose, also the tang rocks in the hand when swung, I do understand the price point but everything should still be nice and tight. Other than those issues this is beautiful overall

Cependant ,la SAYA en bois noir de mon wakizashi , étais fendue en deux endroits avec l'entrée trop étroite , pour introduction de l' HABAKY du sabre . Je l'ai fait recollé par un spécialiste sur bois . J'ai aussi dans le passé , perdu deux sabres , qui se sont égaré dans le transport vers mon domicile . My wakizashi was exactly what I ordered and expected, and arrived in good condition and in a timely manner. Thank you for that. My only complaint is that a left-handed saya does not appear to be available. One added note is that I very much enjoyed the enclosed instruction and warnings sheet. I realize that those "Do Not . . ." are probably based on some person actually acting that stupid, and are therefore needed for liability purposes; but wow, some are rather unbelievable!

The wakazoshi seems pretty well made. Blade is incredibly sharp and aesthetically it is a beautiful piece. I have 2 grips with it. 1. The Kashira is loose already. Which means if it’s used as intended the tsuka ito will become loose and unwrap. 2. I wish they offered a real ray or shark skin Ho cover. Other than that for the price it is perfect. That is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. For most this would be perfect for display.

I got it on sale but some issues may indicate why it was on sale.
Cons:
Blade was bent and wavy ( not straight)
the grinds were a little heavy on some places showing little hot spots.
The Hamon was very prominent in photos but very faint in person.
Pros:
Blade is very sharp and although faint, the Hamon looks much better than a fake hamon.
Woodworking (and wood) vas very nice
Fitting was very nice and tight (handle ,and sword to sheath)
Overall it's ok for the "sale" price, but as is I would not pay full price again for the same piece that I recieved.
I am reviewing only 1 piece and this does not reflect True Katana's Overall product .

Shirasaya Wakizashi Sword T10 Carbon Steel Without Tsuba. I like it and good quality with the fit and finish. Actual T10 steel is questionable, it seems to be milder, not as hard as T10 claims to be. Satisfied with order and purchase.

All the sword are great! Love the quality. Our competition team loves the balance and the look of them.
However, one of the scabbards seems to have some of the packaging still stuck down in the bottom of the sheath. Not quite sure how to get that out without damaging the sheath. If you have any suggestions please let me know so we can allow our entire team to utilize these fine weapons.

The wakizashi is similar to the katana but shorter in length. The average Wakizashi is about 50 cm long and was usually worn together with the katana by the Samurai of feudal Japan. When worn together the pair of swords was called Daish, which translates to large and small. This sword acted like a side weapon and was worn by the Samurai at all times.
