The tanto was beautiful exotic wood grain looks and feels great was a little loose in the scabard but used the old samurai wax trick and now it's good I'm not sure what the wood is maybe tiger wood but is super attractive and with a couple of coats of oil it is amazing blade is razor sharp I've already ordered some other pieces from true katana as there selection and unique designs are very cool and the pricing is good something for everyone at different price points I'm glad I stumbled onto true katana as for shipping this item took about a week

The sword has a silver scabbard and hand guard. That's not what I ordered, I wanted the white one. Also the last 3 inches of the blade at the hilt was dull. Beyond that the blade is fairly sharp. For what I paid I guess this is what I get. Retuning it won't work as I'm disabled. Just know that I'll be going elsewhere to make future purchases. Thanks.

It came well packaged which is always a surprise nowadays and the presentation was great. The blades quality is nice a bit heavy but that’s to be expected for this type of weapon. The sheath is nice with the black speckled pattern I do wish they covered the bottom of the sheath with paint instead of leaving it with a wood finish but it’s minute. Overall 9/10 especially for the price.

order arrived in record time.Ordered a pair of tanto, both of which were in very nice condition and SHARP...these blades will be remounted with upgraded koshirae...although the stock fuchigashira are quite nice.

We do love this tanto and shipping was great however there are just little things on the handle to not get a 5 star. (Still totally worth the money and a great piece) but you can see some tool marks on the handle and it should’ve been wrapped where 3 of the pins were not showing.
