The Sword I ordered was a gift for my son that he picked out. I was skeptical since I was unfamiliar with the company. I even tried to get him to wait and do some research before making a purchase, but he said this sword was the one he wanted. The shipping time was reasonable and the quality of the sword was honestly a lot more than I was expecting The blade is solid and the handle is also well made. It is a beautiful sword, my son loves it, and I would definitely order from this company again in the future.

The tanto was beautiful exotic wood grain looks and feels great was a little loose in the scabard but used the old samurai wax trick and now it's good I'm not sure what the wood is maybe tiger wood but is super attractive and with a couple of coats of oil it is amazing blade is razor sharp I've already ordered some other pieces from true katana as there selection and unique designs are very cool and the pricing is good something for everyone at different price points I'm glad I stumbled onto true katana as for shipping this item took about a week

Seems the metal is very good quality. The furniture is a good quality. The size of the Tonto is a little large, more like an O Tanto. Still that’s a minor point. It’s a great blade.

It came well packaged which is always a surprise nowadays and the presentation was great. The blades quality is nice a bit heavy but that’s to be expected for this type of weapon. The sheath is nice with the black speckled pattern I do wish they covered the bottom of the sheath with paint instead of leaving it with a wood finish but it’s minute. Overall 9/10 especially for the price.

Main reason is there’s some white and blueish green crude all over the guard . I think it’s a great show piece and possibly a tool but I have yet to test it out forged in fire style
