Overall a good product. The blade is excellent, and overall workmanship is quite good.r
Two problems observed:r
The Habaki is loose - it slides back and forth on the blade with a noticeable gap between the notch on the blade and the Seppa.r
The Tsuka-Ito is a bit looser than it should be.r
While I can repair both of these I should not have to do so. The assembly should not have passed inspection.

The quality is immediately noticed when you take it out of the box - glossy saya with quality braided sageo . The blade handle sports a stiff sami and tight enough ito. This blade is of the construction Kamasu-Kissaki (straight edged tip), but TrueKatana do not explain this. That blade style is the reason why I purchased it, which is rare to find on the internet. I named it Zyro. I enjoy taking its tempered blade under the sun, showing its very unique Noi pattern.

Well, I ordered this beautiful Wakizashi together with a expensive Katana for my dad, and the 2 Swords arrives today. r
About this brown Wakizashi: As it was stated to have a 26cm Tsuka, and as seen on the website to have a Bohi on the Blade... I ordered it. All in all, the Wakizashi has been looking awesome in pictures.r

Today it arrived, and unfortunately, the Tsuka was only 21cm long, and the Blade didn't have a Bohi (Blood Groove).r

I ordered from Austria, I had to wait quite some time and was very unsatisfied with the short Tsuka and Blade without the Bohi. Yet, I was very surprised, by how kind, service-orientated and extra-ordinary-professional these guys handled it.r

The swords looks awesome, but still, I was dissatisfied, so they offered me some ammount of refund which honestly, arrived a couple of hours ago. I am quite happy with this solution and still, the Swords are pretty decent, feel like quality-items and the team handled this very fast. The Katana is absolute awesome... so thank you a lot !

I have to say this is a great purchase beautiful hamon all the way down the black nice color and great finish on the wood work but the only negative I have on this is the blade is not sharp as advertised and it sticks in the sheath to much but other wise good purchase.

Everything is good and tight but the bottom of the handle is a little loose and the blade could be a little sharper, but overall I like it a lot and you get what you pay for so get something in mind for yourself if you want something better, but it's a different sword than the katana and shorter movements or easier to move. The handle is good and tight but there is a little gap on one side of the handle that looks rushed to be finished and also the bottom butt of the handle is loose. Over all I think it's great for what it's worth

Ordered this wakizashi. It arrived in about two weeks, looking identical to the way it looked on the website. Appears to be a quality item. It is nicely balanced, sharp, nice weight for single handed use ... overall, it makes me want to go find something in the yard that needs a ceremonial chopping. I'm upbeat that i'll probably still have all my digits at the end of this year.
Oh, and the fittings are genuine and look awesome.

I was expecting real bamboo. After seeing it's not, I read the description again. "bamboo style wooden". Yup, beware of details. But it is still very cool. I am definitely keeping it. The blade is Damascus Steel. The blade is cooler than the handle/sheath. I'll probably never use it. For self defense I prefer a gun as Indiana Jones used against an expert sworder. But I do respect the Samari.

Shirasaya Wakizashi Sword T10 Carbon Steel Without Tsuba. I like it and good quality with the fit and finish. Actual T10 steel is questionable, it seems to be milder, not as hard as T10 claims to be. Satisfied with order and purchase.
