I really like the sword it feels nice, both the sword and the sheath. However when I received the package the foam was slightly compromised and the sword pommel had a gouge in it from shipping.

I could not be more pleased with my order of the pictured katana. First, the packaging was very well done. Order arrived in a styrofoam box wrapped in water proof yellow tape. Inside, the blade was in its scabbard (saya) which was in a clear plastic wrap for protection. Upon removing the blade, I found it inside of an oiled tubular plastic wrap for corrosion protection. Second, the scabbard had a beautiful, consistent coloration and was made of hardwood with gold fittings - classy. Third the blade - 5/16" thick at the crossguard (tsuba) tapering to 3/16" at the tip. The differential heat treating line was stunning. The blade was very sharp and the handle was also covered in clear plastic wrap for protection. What a great value - I will definitely be a repeat customer!

The Katana is Absolutely Beautiful. Masterfully made. The Blade is Razor Sharp and the design from the folding and clay is Magnificent. This is Exactly what I've been wanting. Didn’t realize there would be any metal scabbards though, that doesn’t scream hand made or traditional Japanese Katana at all. I would really like to know if the more expensive ones are worth it. Only two out of the 5 swords I got were sharpened in any way. The rest seemed to just have false edges. That being said I did still like how 4 of them were made. The 3 swords with the wooden scabbards are pretty sweet! The green sword is my favorite. Tanto is my second favorite. Love the big hunk of metal that the machete is, just wish it was sharpened.
And the disappointment would be half and half the black and red sword with metal scabbard.
Had these all Ben sharpened properly, for the price I paid I would’ve said 5 stars.

From the box, it looked just like the picture but a little better. It’s very sturdy. The details are remarkable. This piece looks authentic, especially at the tip. The hamon is absolutely gorgeous. I love the look of it. I thought the back side was painted black and the cutting edge was grey. It could’ve just been the background reflection in the thumbnail photos. Nevertheless, it’s a very beautiful piece. I’m in love with the green wrapping, it’s a deep bold green.

The Katana is good overall , the only things that I could find wrong with it was the blade rattles in the saya; the Katana was tip heavy and was a bit punishing after swinging it for a while. Despite the downsides the fittings on the Katana were tight and the handle wrap feels good in the hands. Nothing about this Katana is low quality. Overall the Katana was money well spent and you certainly can buy with confidence.
