Product Details

This full tang katana features a 28.3-inch blade forged from 1095 carbon steel and clay tempered to achieve 58 HRC hardness at the edge. The clay tempering process produces a visible hamon line running along the blade, paired with a polished chrome finish that catches light with subtle brilliance. The blade geometry carries a traditional curvature suited to a standard katana profile.

The 10.2-inch tsuka is wrapped in white cotton cord over red PU samegawa, creating a distinctive diamond pattern where red peeks through at regular intervals. This red-and-white color scheme delivers a striking visual contrast while the layered wrapping provides a textured, secure grip. Dual bamboo mekugi pins secure the full tang construction through the handle.

A black alloy tsuba in a round openwork pattern sits between blade and handle, offering a dark accent point that visually anchors the white-dominated design. The minimalist circular cutouts in the tsuba give it a clean, understated presence that does not compete with the ornate saya artwork.

The hardwood saya is coated in glossy white piano lacquer, creating a smooth, mirror-like surface that serves as the canvas for hand-painted golden peacock feather motifs. Each feather features fine gold linework radiating from a central eye accented in pink and purple tones, adding an artistic focal point to the scabbard. A white sageo cord is tied at the kurikata, maintaining the monochromatic theme. This piece fits well alongside other White 1095 Carbon Steel Katana models in a growing collection.

At 40.5 inches in overall length and 2.65 lbs in weight, this katana is built to full scale with proportions true to traditional Japanese sword design. The combination of clay tempered 1095 steel, piano lacquer craftsmanship, and hand-painted peacock art positions it as a standout display piece. Collectors exploring 1095 Clay Tempered Katana options will find this white-and-gold design a distinctive addition to any wall mount or sword stand.

  • Black alloy tsuba in a round openwork design provides a clean visual transition between the chrome-finish blade and the white handle assembly.

The tip was a little dirty, but it could’ve been ups that did that, and the scabbard had a small dent, but everything else is nice. Just wish it was a little sharper

Is a pretty nice katana except for the fact that the top part is extremely more sharp than any where else on the blade. But, the blade is still very sharp though.
