The blade on this ninjato is forged from manganese steel and finished in a graduated blue tone that deepens toward the spine and edge. A continuous wave engraving runs along the flat of the blade, etched in a repeating chain-link motif that catches light at different angles. The straight double-edged profile is full tang, extending through the handle for a solid one-piece construction.

The handle is wrapped in tightly coiled black material in a spiral cord pattern, providing a firm grip texture. A silver lion kashira caps the pommel with a relief-sculpted lion face, and the same lion motif is carried through to the tsuba, creating a unified design language across the fittings. The alloy construction gives the fittings a consistent silver tone throughout.
