IPad Air4 for size comparison. It's beautiful, just like the photos. It has a hefty weight and feels sturdy. I absolutely love it and just need to get a display stand for it.
I didn't want to remove the plastic on the blade, as I don't have any oil yet to care for it, so I'm leaving it wrapped but I saw no chips, bends, dents, or scratches on the blade. It arrived carefully wrapped between two blocks of Styrofoam in perfect condition and tracking was easy to follow. Overall I'm super satisfied and so glad I bought it.

I don’t know much about swords but it was pretty dirty on the inside so I don’t think I can keep it in the holder without it getting brown dirty stuff on it. but the quality of it was incredible thanks so much for the speedy delivery

Is a great sword.
Got drunk buzzed one knight and watched Kill Bill, specifically one with the Chinese Jap-American girl as the antagonist in the Chapter, wanted to buy a sword like hers; ended up doing that the next day and waited awhile.
Got it and I’m not disappointed; has a good weight and feel to it, the sheath is beautiful, and not only that the blade is pseudo-sharp. If you want it to be sharp, you’ll have to do it yourself or get it professionally sharpened, which is understandable, because if you’re committed to it, you wouldn’t mind sharpening it.
Just remember to buy Sword Oil for it, protection from corrosion is PARAMOUNT.

Sword is solid and well put together, but the last 2 inches has a slight curve to the right when looking from the spine. Compared to the other 2 katanas I own it's noticeably heftier, but that doesn't mean much to me. The saya and handle are nice in my opinion and the entire thing feels pretty sturdy. The only issue is with the blade itself, but thats also the heart of a sword so even if its slight it's still noticeable

I love this katana, It is very pleasing to the eye.
This black Bamboo Shirasaya is surprisingly made very well, it is handmade with a full tang that is made of 1045 carbon steel.
The tsuka or handle is fitted very tightly and does not move at all and is thin but fits nicely in the hand/s.
The habaki fits very well and isn't loose, the blade is pretty sharp and will cut but I'll put a much better edge on it with a wet stone and leather strop it will definitely take a fine razor edge.
The kissaki (tip) is done well and cleanly and easily penetrates cardboard, straw, and pigskin (yes I tried it).
The hamon or wave pattern made by clay differently treating it, is prounced enough to see and looks good, it fits good in the saya (scabbard) but could be a bit tighter I'll fix that with a thin shim. No biggie.
Overall this is a really nice Shirasaya and will be a great addition to my Japanese sword collection, it's well worth the money at this price.

Attention to detail an blade construction is very well an impressive I have not tested it as of yet. If it cuts and holds up to what the say worth every penny an some this is the 3 sword I have ordered from them an it is highly addicting because of the quality.
