The tsuka is wrapped in black cord tsuka-ito over a PU black samegawa base, with the diamond pattern of the wrapping revealing gold-toned menuki accents at regular intervals. The handle wrapping is tight and even throughout, which speaks to the care put into the koshirae assembly. A bone-toned fuchi sits at the base of the handle, providing a clean transition point between tsuka and tsuba.

The tsuba is cast alloy in a flower theme, rendered in black with visible copper-tone relief on the petal details. The design is open and layered, with cutout sections that let light through and give the guard visual depth.
