First thing is this is a sword for 150 and it is 1095 and ful tang that's a good start. Any collection has to have a kogarasumaru style blade which is beautifully polished and the grooves are perfect and it is quite sharp in the right places . The blade is very light but it feels powerful with to hands fast and deadly. The tsuba really stands apart among all the fittings, it is very solid and dense of quality alloy and almost 1/4 inch thick with good details . The tsuka ito is very tight and expertly done. The Saya arrived in perfect condition and is all well done and the fit is perfect being just tight enough. This sword is well worth the cost and the color scheme is subtle with a flash of silver like the blade just before you cut down your opponent.

le sabre est exactement comme sur les images de présentation du site, magnifique.
Je ne m'y connais pas dans les différents métaux et aciers pour y apporter une appréciation constructive. Je peux juste dire que c'est lourd et robuste : tout est bien fini, bien fixé, aucune pièce ne "gigote"...
La qualité des finitions bonne, sans quelques rares imperfections, à ce prix il ne faut pas s'attendre à des finitions au millimètre près.
l'illustration du Saya (crânes) sont gravés dans le bois, ce n'est pas une vulgaire impression sur la peinture!
Agréablement surpris donc pour cette première commande, le choix est difficile pour le(s) prochain(s) car, oui, aux prix raisonnables et frais d'importation minimes, je commande à nouveau, ça donne envie de refaire la déco !
Par contre, certains articles sont à 0,00 frais d'envoi , et d'autres 19,99USD :-/
sans savoir pourquoi ça ne donne pas envie d'acheter ceux-là...

Arrived MUCH sooner than expected. Now, there really isn't an edge on this is one of my issues with it. The only other issue is that the sheath seems to be pretty cheap. Overall I am Impressed with the sword though, and would even order Again from True Katana

Bought it for my 14 year old to display on his wall. He ended up chopping his sisters head off with it after she once again left the toilet running, which caused water to leak downstairs all over his bed. Toilet has not leaked since, great katana!

Man when I tell you it’s worth the wait the design the feel is amazing. Only reason I’m giving it 4 out of 5 is because my sheathe was a lil cracked but besides that there’s no reason you shouldn’t get one

Here's my honest opinion about this tanto.
If i'm not mistaking myself the describtion said "razor sharp". I don't know if that was typo because this was not close to that sharpness at all.
I'm 51 years old and I know a thing or two about sharpening blades., so this i can fix myself easily.
The fitting between the habaki and saya is under all criticism. It was so poorly made that if you tilted it the knife fell out. NOT very safe. Again this i fixed.
This was definately not made by an experienced craftman.
If i were you i had contacted whoever you choosen in China to sharpen up, or searched for another blackdmith
After all, this has to do with your reputation. I don't blame True katana. I blame the amateur that made my tanto.

Sword came out amazing, wasn’t quite as sharp as “battle ready” makes it sound. But it looks exactly as shown in the photos and I am more than pleased considering the price tag!

It is very beautiful and does look very sharp. However the sheath color is pretty different from the picture. The one I have is more deep purple/blue then a deep green/aqua color i was expecting. Other then that not bad.

The Waizashi. I bought from you truekatana is A fine piece of art.There was one flaw that I saw and the flaw was on the Kissaki . Other than that ,very good craftsmanship. Very sharp beautiful Wakizashi.
