I really like the blade and it was sharp out the box and i love the design and it feels very well made. My favorite part is the tsuba design.

First, I was surprised at how fast it came, less than a week. The wood is rich in color, very smooth, excellent quality. The steel is a little thicker than some of my katanas, but its excellent steel, forged very well with an obvious harmon, very sharp. An excellent wakizashi, especially at this price point.

Ordered this wakizashi. It arrived in about two weeks, looking identical to the way it looked on the website. Appears to be a quality item. It is nicely balanced, sharp, nice weight for single handed use ... overall, it makes me want to go find something in the yard that needs a ceremonial chopping. I'm upbeat that i'll probably still have all my digits at the end of this year.
Oh, and the fittings are genuine and look awesome.

Great purchase, I would only add that it was unclear if you were using USPS or someone else like UPS. This would be a problem for me since the USPS doesn't deliver to address per my request. (They would deliver to my P.O.Box) I'm crossing my Katana's and hoping my order is delivered via someone other than USPS.
