received my order a little over a week ago. The sword is beautiful and well crafted, more than I expected. One problem though, the handle has about a two crack and a hairline crack on the scabbard which I'm having repaired, a minor inconvenience considering the overall appearance is a real compliment and I understand things just happen, no negative reflection on your company, the item is a very beautiful piece and I'm very proud to own one. This was my 3rd purchase from True Katana. But it's my first straight blade Katana (don't know the technical name) Very sleek and stylish. I love the simplicity of this sword. It came packaged well, the blade was wrapped in plastic and had a layer of oil to preserve it. Very sharp!!, feels good to hold and swing. Don't know if they make a set of this or not. I find no irregularities, no wobbling what so ever and it slides in smoothly. The Katana is exactly what they post on the site, just looks better up close and personal. Very pleased with this purchase.

The Ninjato condenses down to the height of a walking stick.
It’s heavy enough for cane defense.
Inner hardware is sturdy.
When opened up as a pole-arm, the Ninjato feels graceful while stabbing and thrusting. I find this to be a very fun weapon to have and look forward to incorporating this piece into my practice.

Overall amazing sword. Only issue is it came slightly oily for some reason, and a couple tid bits fit loosely. No biggie tho, it's an amazing piece of work regardless.

This one is a great find. Beautiful build quality and also very affordable. It caught my eye emediately on the website, ordered it and when it arrived in almost less than a week I was not disappointed. The weight of it is awesome, really feels strong in hand. The sleek simple bamboo design is top notch also . This sword took me back to my days in Okinawa, Japan thanks True Katana! When it arrived there was a couple cracks in my scabbard causing it to release a little loosely but I addressed it with TrueKatana Customer service and they sent me a new scabbard free of charge! Best customer service ever! Sent an email with a couple pictures and Fiona responded promptly within 24 hrs. Very pleased with the TrueKatana brand so far! Looking forward to my next purchase. Can it have been better? Yes. Not a bad sword given at it's price point. The blade wasn't evenly as sharp or polished as I would like it to be and had a few high spots, but after sharpening/honing and polishing I was able to get it to the sharpness I wanted. The scabbard came loose after 2-3 times pulling the blade out and leaves wood chips behind. I would have to clean the blade every pull, but is becoming less of a clean up after a while.
