I love this sword;the fact it came early on the Sabbath, I actually prayed over it and had it blessed. I love the color, the lightning, the sheath,the character of the blade overall regarding design, even the leather grip ,feels amazing.
It feels like a full tang in the blade, great weight for me and working on my forearms. Haven't done a cutting test quite yet but I felt the edge slide against my finger and I know for sure it's sharp, yet it didn't cut me to cause bleeding.
Awesome blade, I recommend.

It’s heavy enough for cane defense.
Inner hardware is sturdy.
When opened up as a pole-arm, the Ninjato feels graceful while stabbing and thrusting. I find this to be a very fun weapon to have and look forward to incorporating this piece into my practice.

I had ordered the same style sword from another company and the wood was bass wood. It’s a soft wood, the sword falls out of its wooden sheath on its own!!
So I was quite impressed with the construction of this sword from True Katana. It was exactly what I was looking for.

This one is a great find. Beautiful build quality and also very affordable. When it arrived there was a couple cracks in my scabbard causing it to release a little loosely but I addressed it with TrueKatana Customer service and they sent me a new scabbard free of charge! The order arrived quickly. The weapon was beautiful. The scabbard holds the sword without slipping and the weight is just right. There was no rattle between the blade and the handle. I'm new to katana training, but even with my poor skill, I easily sliced through a water bottle. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This is the first katana I have ever bought and understand this is in no way a battle ready or perfectly hand crafted weapon, but I do think there should be more attention to the finer details like the handle being offset from the blade. I also know this is not a traditional handle design for a katana and while it is off centered and slightly loose it feels amazing. Other than that, this thing is extremely sharp and near perfectly balanced. The tip did roll slightly, not 100% sure on what as I try not to hit hard things with this sword, but it's also $200. All in all 7/10 mainly because of the off-centered handle. I will definitely buy from here again. Fast shipping, and arrived in perfect condition.
