It looks exactly how I wanted it but it came very dirty. It seems like the sleeve was a perfect size for the blade so I’m not sure how it got this dirty but I will give a update on how the sword is holding up after a few weeks/months.

It's a little bigger than what zatoichi fans should expect, but that was my fault for not knowing how big the listed length is (I'm 5'6) the quality is pretty darn good. The habaki is a little tight in koiguchi but that's expected of a shikomizue (to be used as a cane) I will definitely be purchasing from trukatana in future. Budget and sturdy quality stuff.

For the price, it's not that bad. With little honing, I managed to give the blade razor sharpness. The faux leather on the tsuka is a one piece sheet, wrapped and sew, kinda plastic thing. I did a traditionnal lace over it so now it's way better. The saya gets loose after only 10 times getting the blade out... All and all you get what you pay for !

It's little heavier than I imagined. But looks good. I do have to say, they have been inconsistent with product descriptions. I'm not sure if this is a full tang.

My only complaint is that online you stated this was a battle ready sword. That statement is quite false. how is it battle ready when ordering. Yet when it arrives you change that statement completely to one that states for dcorative purpose only. Please be honest about what you are selling, is it a knick knack or a sword. My blade arrived very dull as a matter of fact. How do you recommend I sharpen it because it is not the battle ready sword i thought i was purchasing.
