Very nice historic style Chinese sword. Excellent fittings and scabbard. Not very sharp, would need work to be a "cutting" sword, but for the price, I think it is a fine value. Size is smallish, but accurate to the period it represents.

The pattern is adhered very well to the surface. The grips and fittings are a bit on the cheap-side but they are designed for "minimalist, tactical use" so they may just what some people are looking for. The blades are still full tang, as evidenced by the great balance point.r

Absolutely Outstanding Work! It looks even more beautiful in person. As for me, It was a bizarre Christmas gift.
The blade is pretty sharp and it's heavy which I wasn't really expect it to be though I like it very much. Though, I don't think it's that durable if you swing it (Slash) but it can still cut so be careful.
I think my only takeway from this is that, the scabbard was a bit worn out I suppose. The sew was kind of loose and inside was leaving crumbs of wood/dust on the blade (It sticked to it due to the oil). I guess that's to be expected since they had it in stock, probably one that's been there for some time. Additionally, the time of shipping takes quite an amount of time but eventually it still came. Just make your orders about 2 weeks and a half earlier from when you'd want to recieve it (if from the US) because that's how long it took for me.

Beautiful sword! And it arrived very quickly - in time for Christmas, which I appreciate. My tip for others who buy this item is to look for the plastic inside the scabbard (before putting the sword back inside!) I suspect the plastic is there as a wrap around the blade, but the first time I took the sword out, the plastic stayed inside the scabbard. Not understanding this, I put the sword back in, pushing the plastic wrap down to the bottom of the scabbard. Just something to be aware of for future buyers.
