Features: very heavy and not so sharp, no I didn't plan to cut the heads with it, only for cosplay, but if I would find something attractive as this with T10 steel, I'd rather prefer it.

One problem though, the handle has about a two crack and a hairline crack on the scabbard which I'm having repaired, a minor inconvenience considering the overall appearance is a real compliment and I understand things just happen, no negative reflection on your company, the item is a very beautiful piece and I'm very proud to own one. It's a little bigger than what zatoichi fans should expect, but that was my fault for not knowing how big the listed length is (I'm 5'6) the quality is pretty darn good. The habaki is a little tight in koiguchi but that's expected of a shikomizue (to be used as a cane) I will definitely be purchasing from trukatana in future. Budget and sturdy quality stuff.

I received the sword in a very timely manner. Getting shipped from China and arriving on my doorstep in a little over a week is pretty dang good. The sword overall is really sturdy and everything fits well. The only two gripes that I have are that the the piece that fits on the bottom of the handel wasn't ornamented. The other is that the blade is dull,dull,dull! I've ordered a sword previously from True Katana and that blade was great! I will have to get this sword sharpened or I've just bought a very expensive butter knife. By the way.. I love the instruction booklet. Don't put the sword in your mouth lol!

I love this Sword. But I'm a little concerned. I'm having a difficult time initially releasing the blade from the scabbard. When I seat the sword fully into the scabbard it gets really stuck in there. I'm guessing it's a type of friction lock to keep the sword from accidentally coming out of the scabbard when used as a walking stick.
Is this the correct assumption?

2 petits regrets cette fois, dommage :
- les deux sabres commandés étant "en stock", la commande passée et payée le 28/5/2023 n'a été expédiée que le 11/6/2023 après ouverture de litige Paypal, et reçue le 16/6/2023 (Rapide FEDEX, bravo! ).
- le "Ray-Skin" du sabre noir est rouge et pas noir, ce qui fait que la poignée est rouge/rouge (ça fait beaucoup de rouge alors que le contraste rouge/noir aurait été parfait) mais ce n'est pas pour autant que je le renvoie car les frais de renvoi sont chers, et qu'il est magnifique malgré tout.
Un troisième regret : il est difficile de s'arrêter quand on contemple la naissance d'une magnifique collection ... :-D

Blade edge is quality. Scabbard is quality. Handguard looks great. This handle is metal tube with studded rubber overmolding. Really lets your palm dig into your grip point. Wooden peg meguki. Screw on cap as the pommel was a minor pet peeve… the handle wasn’t exactly centered precisely about 2-3 mils deviation but doesn’t affect my swing just an aesthetic flaw. Also the habaki wasn’t fitted properly so it moved around maybe 1-2 mils towards the spine/edge, and .5 mil horizontally. I fixed it by making shims from wood and wedging them between the habaki and blade. No more movement after that.

Well packed and quickly shipped. Well fitted. Not as sharp as I expected from some of the reviews I read, but sharper than the general run of blades online.
I was surprised that there was a burr on the tsuba edge, but to get a simple iron tsuba I would put up with a lot more than that. Well pleased.
