I love this sword;the fact it came early on the Sabbath, I actually prayed over it and had it blessed. I love the color, the lightning, the sheath,the character of the blade overall regarding design, even the leather grip ,feels amazing.
It feels like a full tang in the blade, great weight for me and working on my forearms. Haven't done a cutting test quite yet but I felt the edge slide against my finger and I know for sure it's sharp, yet it didn't cut me to cause bleeding.
Awesome blade, I recommend.

The Ninjato condenses down to the height of a walking stick.
It’s heavy enough for cane defense.
Inner hardware is sturdy.
When opened up as a pole-arm, the Ninjato feels graceful while stabbing and thrusting. I find this to be a very fun weapon to have and look forward to incorporating this piece into my practice.

Great little Ningato. It is a bit heavier than I was expecting, but that is fine! Tested the RC Hardness and it is right in line with 1045 Carbon Steel. I wanted to get another T10, but this was amazing at 40% off with your labor day sale.

For the price, it's not that bad. With little honing, I managed to give the blade razor sharpness. The faux leather on the tsuka is a one piece sheet, wrapped and sew, kinda plastic thing. I did a traditionnal lace over it so now it's way better. The saya gets loose after only 10 times getting the blade out... All and all you get what you pay for !

The blade as a whole is very cool but when I got it I saw where the blade gose is just an empty metal tube and when putting the blade back scraps against the inside of the rod dulling it quiet a bit and there is a single nut holding the blade to the handle and k find that it get very loose and cuase the blade to bang agints the inside of the rod as a display peace very cool but if your like me and like to mess around with your blades cut fruits bottles etc it can get very annoying

I ordered the Ninjato Ninja Sword with Purple Straight Blade (and the beautiful black/gold display rack) as a gift. When I initially ordered the sword, I was excited. When I received it - that excitement elevated to elated. It is beautifully crafted with a lot of attention to detail. I am so impressed by the craftsmanship that is clearly present in this sword. The blade itself is a rich purple with precision etchings (and sharp! Very, very sharp). The tsuka was wrapped excellently, with symmetry in every section. The tsuba is phenomenal, with a tremendous amount of detail. Finally, the saya was brilliantly done and the finish is flawless. It truly is a stunning sword. The display rack is also very impressive, with striking colors and soft felt lining the slots, I couldn't ask for a better gift! I am so excited to give it!
