It’s a nice looking sword. Nice weight, too. I kind of wish the data wasn’t coated with high gloss. But, it’s a nice sword for the price, all the same.

About this brown Wakizashi: As it was stated to have a 26cm Tsuka, and as seen on the website to have a Bohi on the Blade... I ordered it. All in all, the Wakizashi has been looking awesome in pictures.r

Today it arrived, and unfortunately, the Tsuka was only 21cm long, and the Blade didn't have a Bohi (Blood Groove).r

I ordered from Austria, I had to wait quite some time and was very unsatisfied with the short Tsuka and Blade without the Bohi. Yet, I was very surprised, by how kind, service-orientated and extra-ordinary-professional these guys handled it.r

The swords looks awesome, but still, I was dissatisfied, so they offered me some ammount of refund which honestly, arrived a couple of hours ago. I am quite happy with this solution and still, the Swords are pretty decent, feel like quality-items and the team handled this very fast. The Katana is absolute awesome... so thank you a lot !

Hate to give such a low star but, in the description it said sharpened edge and it was far from it... It has a very nice feel in the hand and has a very attractive blade. Both the Sageo and the tsuka are very nicely finished and fit well together. I understand for the price point it will not be perfect but if it says sharpened edge in the description the edge should be sharpened.

The sword I received is exactly what you would expect for the price. The blade chips fairly easily and you'll feel a lot of vibration in the hilt even if you tap the blade against the scabbard, so you won be fighting in any great wars with it. However it looks very nice and feels fairly good to swing. If you have anyone in your life that's into this sort of thing this is a decent choice especially for the price. Just be aware of it's flaws.

Handmade Japanese Wakizashi Sword Damascus Steel With Brown Scabbard

Well. It's a sword. And its sharp. Very freaking sharp. Cut myself the first day. On accident. The sword overall is very clean. And subtly eloquent from a distance. The details are very lacking. Closer inspection shows: chipped tip, sloppy oiling, what i can only hope isn't a horizontal stress fracture of the blade, a few blunted zone of the edge, two piece scabbard AND handle, non-removable handle pins (trust me i tried), shoddy carving of the initial opening of the sheathe (results in sword getting stuck on open and close, must be very specific on how you close it), as well as what i can only assume is either a water mark or a wood stain spot on the butt of the sheathe, the engraving is top notch, appearing to be engraved, not laser burned. Overall it's a 6/10. Good work sword.
