It's a little tight in the scabbard, and it seems that there was plastic stuffed inside it that I can't get out. Also, it is longer than I expected for a tanto, almost a wakizashi. But it's a good deal for only a hundred bucks.

The ito is semi-tight. The blade itself is very well done. Habaki is nicely done. The kahira and fuchi are very plain nothing special but the do their job. Sageo is definitely one of the nicer ones i have seen for a blade of this price.The Tsuba design is nice and the saya has a really cool design. Overall a nice collectors piece. I am happy with the selection.

Nice, solid, hefty Tanto short sword. Seems to be well-built and includes a wooden sheath. The top of the edge near the tip is sharp, although; the further you go down the edge the less sharp it becomes. Not a bad sword for the price and steel used.

The items is nice, scabbard fits and holds well. Good ballance. Grip feals great. I would take this blade into battle. The little details make this a 3 star review or I would expect a better quality for the price point. They used too much glue, it seeped from places leaving a bead around the edges. There appeared to be something on the brass before they blackened it, that rubbed off and revealed a untreated surface or blemish. Minor scratches on some parts of the tang part. And it radles, somewhere in the handle something makes a rattling noise when you swing it side to side or quick rotations in the rust.
