Recieved my Katana in 5 days from order. Pretty quick from CA to RI. Packaging was excellent for shipping purposes. Sword was protected with plastic and encased with premolded styrofoam. Blade was wrapped in oiled plastic for protection within the saya. The sword itself was magnificent. Attention to detail was very good. The sword was well balanced, not top or bottom heavy. The Damascus blade was highly polished and razor sharp. The tsuba was very detailed. Fit and finish of saya was very good with black lacquer. The wrap on the Tsuka had very clean lines and precisely placed with tight lacing. The blade fit within the tsuba was smooth yet held snug when fully sheathed. No worries about accidents. Overall i am pleased with the quality of the sword. I will be looking to make another purchase in the future from truekatana.

For the price this is perfect. This is my second purchase from this website and I couldn’t be happier. This sword especially, came in very quickly with only around a week wait. It is perfectly balanced and for the price is very well crafted, probably even worth more. Though the reason I gave it a 4/5 is that it isn’t truly “battle ready”. If you hit this sword against another then there will be major damage, but for me this isn’t a problem because I use mine for mainly cutting fruit. Amazing product!
