Full Tang Katana is the sword where the Tang extends to almost the whole length of the handle, which makes the blade and the handle the same piece of metal. It comes with a sharp blade that is excellent for cutting use and shows.
At first the katana its hard to take out from the scabbard so need to trim a little bit in the inside to loosen a bit. Then the piece of wood that is holding the sageo in the scabbard fell off. But all in all the katana is sharp. Good balance of the blade and when you swing the blade it makes a hacking sound, and what I like is the hamon of the blade with a wave like pattern.

If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. For my first sword buying experience, I regret ordering online but I’m glad I ordered thru TrueKatana. As someone who never owned a sword, my initial impressions were blown away upon delivery. My only issue with the handle itself is that the Tsuba & Habaki don’t match the picture.
