Beautiful sword! Love everything about it, except for the chips of paint that were showing the silver metal beneath it upon me opening it up. I hate that I can’t post more than one photo since the tip of the blade and a few cm below it are also chipped spots. But everything else I love!

It’s my first sword and I’m really satisfied with its quality. The materials look premium, the handle feels good and the balance is nice although I haven’t cut anything with it apart from some paper. It’s not as sharp as I would have wished it to be and it has a little chip on the apex, which may have occurred from transportation or from sheathing/unsheathing, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a little patience and sharpening. Regarding transportation and sheath; the package was simple, foam wrapped in tape, the sheath and handle were wrapped in plastic, BUT, the blade was coated probably with an anti corrosion oil and wrapped in a plastic foil; the sheath feels a bit on the big side as the blade kinda wobbles inside from left to right and sheathing/unsheathing leaves chips of wood on the apex.r
I love the pattern on the blade.r
All in all, I’m really satisfied with it as a first purchase, and I’m really curious and excited about buying a tamahagane blade in the future.

Awesome High Quality Sword for the money. Packaged very well and arrived on time. It's a Christmas present for my son so I only took it out of the box to inspect it. The handle and blade are both sealed in plastic so could not feel either one. I did see the blade has be wrapped in oil I was impressed by that. First impression is a great one ill definitely buy from this company again. Ill update after Christmas if I can . Awesome product guys.

This blade is of the construction Kamasu-Kissaki (straight edged tip), but TrueKatana do not explain this. That blade style is the reason why I purchased it, which is rare to find on the internet. I named it Zyro. I enjoy taking its tempered blade under the sun, showing its very unique Noi pattern.

I bought this because it was almost identical to one I purchased on Amazon. But this one said it was Damascus. And I got it and the case seems to be better quality a lot thicker but the blade was shorter even though it said it was longer than my other one and the balance of the blade is far to the left. Instead of balancing out like my other one. I have heard a lot about true katana and assume that maybe you just have to have a high price one to have it balanced like my cheap Amazon one that honestly works amazing for $120 where this was supposed to be $200 normally but was on sale. Honestly I'm hoping the Damascus stays sharp but it didn't come very sharp so I might need to sharpen it and hopefully it will maintain the blade. I just hoped for more out of the price.
