Beautiful Katana, however it did arrive damaged. This was supposed to be a christmas gift for someone. I wasn’t going to open it, but i like to double check all my packages to make sure everything is in good condition. Sadly i found a crack. I want to return it or exchange it but afraid my items won’t get here in time, although shipping was pretty fast. And i really don’t want to waste my time or TrueKatanas time dealing with the return or exchange process. It’s be great if The cracked part, which is the blade cover, could be replaced, everything else was perfect.

When I decided to order from here , I was under the impression that I was ordering from the US. More specific, California. That's the location given on the website, but no it's not shipped from the US. Now, yes I bought a $139 dollar sword and hoped it'd be as nice as described but unfortunately, it wasn't. Te Tsuka - Ito was not wrapped properly, instead it was melted at the ends to hold it in place and the blade had obvious dimples in the metal. I'm not bashing truekatana, I'm just giving my accurate review.

I have already bought two katanas from Truekatana and I love them. I previously had a carbon steel non-sharpened katana and I can say this ones are definitely more heavy and sturdier. I love everything about them except that this one specially as is shown in the picture is showing the glued part very obviously of all three sections of it, which makes it look somehow cheap.
