It’s a nice looking sword. Nice weight, too. I kind of wish the data wasn’t coated with high gloss. But, it’s a nice sword for the price, all the same.

I admittedly bought this sword and its shorter companion with the intention of cannibalizing their koshirae to be put on another blade, so I wasn't particularly concerned with the utility of the sword. However, I'll admit that when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by it. The construction seems pretty tight, the blade while flat ground and through tempered has a pretty good geometry and feels solid. For the money I gotta say this is a really good buy.

This sword is awesome and definitely sharp enough. I’ve seen some people saying it’s not sharp enough, I sliced paper no problem. Blade was oiled, wrap on the handle is tight. I will definitely order from you guys again for gifts for other people.

Sword was pretty sharp, seems like it was hardened pretty well. Hit it with a sharpener to see if it left little chips in the edge but didnt. A well made 1060 in my oppinion.

Initial product is nice.
However glue used for the hook and ornaments was horrible, had to superglue them after not long.
Habaki is slightly loose, although it isn’t a problem thankfully.
Would recommend for a first buy, as I did, but not for anyone who collects them.

It arrived without damage and in great condition. I was very pleased with the quality and it was above what I had expected. The blade was straight, sharp, and well oiled. The engraving on the guard had surprising detail that I did not appreciate in the online photos. The handle was well wrapped with cord. The scabbard was polished and high quality. I would recommend this for anyone interested in a katana.
