I love this sword;the fact it came early on the Sabbath, I actually prayed over it and had it blessed. I love the color, the lightning, the sheath,the character of the blade overall regarding design, even the leather grip ,feels amazing.
It feels like a full tang in the blade, great weight for me and working on my forearms. Haven't done a cutting test quite yet but I felt the edge slide against my finger and I know for sure it's sharp, yet it didn't cut me to cause bleeding.

I’ve never owned a katana so this is my first, and I will say, definitely a good starter katana. Not perfect quality, but Is very excellent considering the price. Looks very good as well. The only problem I have is the string on the sheath is very thin and flimsy, and the little gold pieces that are on the hole on the sheath fell right out. But those are easy fixes.

Overall I'm satisficed with my purchase. I was very surprised how quickly the sword arrived. The craftsmanship on the entire sward and scabbard is amazing for the price I paid. Truly visually appealing overall. But the Tsuba is very plain and cheap looking and really doesn't go well with the other aspects of the sword. I was thinking of either purchasing a better looking Tsuba of machining my own piece to replace the current one. The blade has been sharpened, but not as sharp as I would like it to be. The sword is slightly unbalanced and hard to control all the way through to the tip. But for a beater sword that still looks very professionally made it is a good purchase.
