This katana is now my favorite and I've bought over 7 from TK ,the reason is it's special blade geometry which makes it very light and fast with one hand. The hamon and polish are impeccable and the blade a beaty.The other reason is the fit and finish is flawless and especially love the fit of the Saya and its elegant silk string. Wanted to take this opportunity to recommend the t10 folded naginata's I've included, these have the same blade geometry as katana reviewed (which also makes them light)they are 1 3/8" tall the whole way through the blade(which is the same length)opposed to a 11/4" tapering to 1". These naginata's are bigger and badder ,you won't be sorry you picked one up.

Love the Look of it online, but unfortunately the Dragon Carving is not as prominent as shown on the website. I’m not sure if this is on purpose or not but it seems that the lacquer/ varnish was over done and it covered the dragon carving to the point that it makes it almost invisible/ not easily seen.
Other than that I think that the Sword is amazing the Handle and the Tsuba are fitted great, I do wish that the Tsuba had a dragon design instead to match the Saya (sheath) but it’s sharp and feels really good in your hands.
If you want to buy it I’d double check regarding the Saya (Sheath) dragon carving and if it’s supposed to be dark like that or not.

Have not tested it out, but out of the box it looks great, just like the pictures. Feels like excellent craftsmanship, the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because there's about a 3 inch section of the blade that is not sharpened properly. Cuts paper decently well but when it hits the dull section it tears. Will have to touch it up on the wet stone. For the price it's a great katana especially if it's true t10 steel that's properly forged/hardened.

The sword lived up to its expectations. It’s a gift for my brother’s 40th birthday, so I can’t really show you a picture of me wielding it because it’s not mine. However, me and my father gave a sneak peek test run of the sword and it is damn good of a sword. Very sturdy and I like the fact that it has some weight to it. What can I say. I will start off by saying the sword is nice. What I expected. The sheath was broken when I received it. The shipping box looked OK. I tried getting hold of the company. They do not answer their phone. It is always busy. I have sent 4 emails. Still have not heard back. So the sword is Good. Their costumer service sucks. I was thinking of buying another sword but with their costumer service I probably will not order another one.

Great product it and finish work well done. Wrap was tight, and the blade was straight. I had a previous shipment where the guard was bent on one side but I took care of that in the vice. This is my 6th order from true katana. I wish the shipping was faster, but at this point I guess I'm glad I'm getting anything out of China.

This white Katana was purchased as a gift for my daughter and I was amazed by the quality and workmanship of this sword.
The Hamon is very pronounced and absolutely awesome looking and the Bohi is perfect from habaki to the tip of the blade...the sword feels light in the hand is a perfect match for a smaller user or a young woman in this case..thank you True Katana.

Everything is good..except..when I was simply shaking it to see if anything was loose or rattled, the tsuka (handle) squeaks. I suppose it's minimal but a little annoying. Sharp though. I may consider buying more.
