Amazing quality. Everything is snug, tight, and very well-built. The tang is tightly wound with durable ray skin underneath. The end cap of the tang is snuggly fitted. The blade itself, while this will be used for display, is extremely sturdy. r

My main purchasing factor was that True Katana was the only company selling WWII katanas (olive color, rosewood, etc.), and all of the designs and effects are 100% accurate, with the reasonable exception that there is no stamp on the blade (but that's expected, because those forges did not make the blade). With that being said, for what this is, it's well worth the price. r

Also, shipping was very fast considering it came from China to America.

I am happy with the blade overall, however, parts along the Scabard came broken off of the scabbard when I received it. Additionally, there was a large amount of hot glue at the end that was clearly visible.

The sword is solid but nimble with a more slender blade,but the red black leather handle with the solid suba and the cool red blade combined with the flawless wood saya makes this a piece to just show off. It's a beaty.

Katana is beautiful and sturdy! Only issue is the metal bracket used to hold the strap will slip along the length of the scabbard. I wish that would stay in place. But otherwise a beautiful katana.

Unfortunately mine did come with minor scratches that came unexpectedly however the delivery was quick and the price was not at all a waste! Absolutely beautiful!!! I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas and I’m so excited to give it to him.
Everything about it is good condition and the blade is very sharp.
Only concern is the packaging, it came in taped up styrofoam but must have been handled properly. It also arrived 4 days ahead of estimate :)
Overall I am mesmerized by the sword and wish I was keeping it for myself haha

I chose this specific style because I was looking for something that resembled a ww11 Japanese warrior sword and this does. All the way down from the design and coloring. Handle design.
