It looks exactly how I wanted it but it came very dirty. It seems like the sleeve was a perfect size for the blade so I’m not sure how it got this dirty but I will give a update on how the sword is holding up after a few weeks/months.

Amazing quality only one small problem I found was in the etched in design at the tip of the sword where there were black spots instead of being yellow but it’s really not a big deal and everything thing else looks amazing.

i like truekatana, i’ve ordered 5 blades in total from them and they’ve all been pretty good, except for this 5th purchase. this one is a bit different. the blade is leaning towards the right instead of being straight as well as having some warping, and the tsuba has bubbles under the paint and is tilted. it doesn’t have the same quality as the other katanas and singular wakizashi i previously ordered, it doesn’t look all that good. like i said though, aside from this katana, all of my other swords look amazing and truekatana is well worth your money. if you ever need a return or refund, they’re very friendly and helpful with your order.

Katana is mostly fine, consider the item itself 4★. The hibaki arrived loose, and the sageo is REALLY frayed, which are problems I didn't expect from a new product that costs this much. Other than that, the Katana itself is very pretty and seems well-constructed, though hard to tell how well it'd hold up after any sort of actual contact. I swung it a few times at air, held up fine, and will work fine as a display piece which is the reason I got it.

I had to take another ★ off because of the absolutely RELENTLESS e-mail bombardment this company gives to leave a review. After the katana arrived, literally every 3 days I get a new e-mail begging me to leave a review and give them 5★ if everything was good. One or two of these e-mails I can forgive, but after the 5th one I'm leaving this review. I don't appreciate being harassed to tell people about how great your product is right after I got it, it worsens my experience with your company.

In short, Katana is mostly fine as far as I can tell, but you may as well blacklist sales@truekatana.com as soon as you receive your product if you don't want to be bombarded with e-mails begging you to review.
