The only thing I did was wipe the blade with some blade oil to even out the shine. Definitely a wonderful piece for the price. The full tang is evident when swinging, the blade has a convex grind, the craftsmanship is superb for such an relatively low-priced sword. Absolutely love the purchase.
Oh and the blade is more of a burnt orange/red orange blade color depending on lighting, as opposed to crimson, which i was a bit disappointed about. I envisioned a more red/darkred tinted blade, but that is the most I can critique honestly. Seriously appreciate the attention to detail! I can only imagine the quality of the $2000 swords, maybe in another life I'd be able to afford one of those, haha.

The sword isn’t falling apart or wobbling when I swing it. Also, for it being a weapon for show, it’s actually pretty sharp.

I think for the price of the item it’s worth the money. There’s a few things that could be better like the loose fit in the scabbard and the way it fits in the scabbard. But other than that, I think it’s a great product for blade enthusiasts and collectors. I wouldn’t recommend trying heavy cutting with these weapons for they are better equipped for light cutting.

The quality was pretty good. The red Damascus steal was more like a finish that chipped at the tip. The katana came pretty oiled and sharpened, I was surprised. Overall pretty good and would be great for display.

Love the blade! Not sure that the sheath is real snake skin but looks cool regardless. Not a crazy sharp edge which is fine, obviously you can get it sharpened yourself. Overall more than happy with the purchase!

Truly is what you pay for. It’s not expensive so don’t expect anything real or anything that’ll actually last someone practicing on real bamboo but just as a display piece it’s rather nice.

The swords arrived on schedule. One of the swords has paint chipped off the pommel but otherwise they are in great condition. I would recommend these swords in the future.

An absolutely beautiful sword. The only issues are with the scabard. The wooden notch on the side was broken off when I received it. I'm also not sure if it was the sword or the scabbard, but it is incredibly difficult to unsheathed the katana.
