The sword was damaged on the handle, there was a small piece that is missing from it. I thought it would have came sharper also. I had bought one before this one and it was sharper.

Fantastic piece for those who are a fan of the anime especially or katanas in general. Shipping was fast even considering it was around the christmas holiday. The sword is excellent quality and the damascus pattern on the blade is beautiful. Highly recommend this piece for any Rurouni Kenshin fan!

Delivered well and without issues. Blade and scabbard/saya are beautiful, although the scabbard is very tight, even tight for the initial unsheathing phase of the blade. Even knowing the wood will expand eventually, I may still need to file it down a little to allow for the blade to even be drawn. For any potential buyers as well (I was unaware of this), the scabbard's design is not placed onto the wood itself, but comes from leather sewn onto the scabbard. Otherwise a good purchase and the sword is quality, and functions really well for decoration and very light practical use.

They never gave me a shipping date so it showed up with out me knowing, but was packaged well could be sharper in spots on the blade but looks to be decent quality workmanship. Already bought a second one different style.
